The Great Gathering Nonprofit Launches Global Weaving Project Under Miriam Delicado’s Leadership

Grassroots initiative calls on individuals and organizations to unite for cultural preservation and climate action.

The Great Gathering Nonprofit, founded by humanitarian leader Miriam Delicado, today announced the official launch of Humanity’s Global Weaving Project, a multi-year movement uniting people, places, and purpose to address climate change and protect sacred knowledge.

The project seeks to mobilize grassroots donors, nonprofits, and communities to weave together local action with global impact. Initiatives include clean water access, infrastructure for Indigenous communities, and broad public education campaigns to inspire action against environmental threats.

“The Global Weaving Project is about more than raising funds,” said Delicado. “It is about weaving together humanity — building a network of action, knowledge, and responsibility to protect the planet.”

The Great Gathering Nonprofit will roll out media campaigns, donor initiatives, and collaborative partnerships over the next year to bring the vision to life.
